    Trash
    On Wednesday evening, Yiayia’s cleaning service will bring trash bins out to the curb side. YOUR RESPONSIBILITY: Please bring bins into their positions in the driveway sometime after Trash removal.

    Climate Control
    When leaving Yiayia’s for any time, please set thermostat to 78 in summer months, and to 55 in winter months. We want you comfortable while occupying Yiayia’s, but when you’re not there, please be mindful of heating/ac usage.

    Washer and Dryer
    WASHER: please shake out all beach sand before washing any clothes. DRYER: When using washer & dryer in the basement, it is very important to clean the lint filter in the dryer before use.

    Damages
    Please examine Yiayia’s upon entering, and report any damage issues that you notice. Damages should be reported immediately. You are responsible for unreported damages accessed by the cleaning service.

    Checkout
    Please tidy up. Remove all bedding and place it at the foot of the bed for those beds that you used. If your party did not use a bed, leave it as is. Collect used towels and put them on the bathroom floor.

Guest Guidelines

We ask that all guests follow a few simple guidelines to keep Yiayia’s Cottage comfortable for everyone.

Key Policies:

  • Remove used sheets and place at the foot of the bed.

  • We provide linens, towels, and starter paper goods. Please bring your own soaps, shampoos, and shaving supplies.

  • We will bring your trash out on Wednesday evening.
    You bring it from the curb on Thursday afternoon.

  • 55 degrees winter; 78 in summer

  • Separate check, returned after post-stay inspection.

  • Guests keep space tidy; professional cleaning between stays.
